Rwanda might be considered a small African country but their coffee in our opinion is absolutely divine. There are some 400,000 small-scale growers all specialising in Arabica beans.
This coffee, which is grown from 1,400 up to 1,900 masl, is from the varieties Bourbon and Typica and is a fully washed mix of coffees from 40 washing stations and 35,000 farmers in Rwanda. The coffee is hulled, graded and hand sorted by the Rwanda Trading Company in Kigali. This is a well balanced and fruity, sweet coffee with gorgeous hints of cranberries. These coffee beans are roasted to a light to medium level.
